Becoming a member

Becoming a member of Linstone is one of the most important ways in which you can have your say about Linstone and the services we provide to our tenants and communities.

It is a simple and straightforward process – download the membership policy and fill out the application form  Complete and return application form to us with £1.00 membership fee.

Membership applications are considered for approval by our Management Committee. Once approved, you will receive a signed membership certificate.

Members can:

  • Attend the Annual General Meeting and any other meetings
  • Vote on issues relating to the General Meetings and election of committee members
  • Stand for election to our Management Committee

Linstone welcomes applications from anyone interested in the association and we are particularly keen to encourage tenants and residents living within our local communities to become members and increase the local influence on decisions affecting the association.

The rules relating to the operation of Linstone have been developed from the SFHA’s Model Rules 2013. These set out the formal processes the association follows in areas like membership and operation of meetings etc.
