Linstone Housing Association was formed on 1st March 1998 and currently owns around 1670 houses in Renfrewshire. The Association is a registered Charity under the Rules of the Industrial & Provident Societies Act 1965. In addition to being landlord Linstone is also Feu Superior to approximately 2700 owner occupiers, 450 of whom receive a Factoring Service.
The Association is a “not for profit” organisation, registered and monitored by the Scottish Government and is run by a voluntary Committee of Management. AIMS & OBJECTIVES • To maintain and improve the Association’s long-term financial viability • To maintain high quality housing • To provide excellence in service delivery • To work in partnership with other local housing providers / appropriate agencies. • To encourage and increase opportunities for customers to become involved in decisions which affect their homes and communities • To establish and deliver a strategy which meets our future business need
