Linstone is
the Estate Manager of many estates in Renfrewshire.
As Estate Manager we have legal rights and responsibility to impose and enforce
conditions regarding the administration, management and maintenance of the Estate and the use of any individual
area.
This means that we are responsible for organising repairs to common areas such
as roads, parking bays, open spaces and grassed areas which are not adopted
by the Local Authority. We also have an involvement in neighbour disputes and
provide advice on a number of other issues.
Linstone Housing Association is also Factor for many buildings within the estates.
As Factor the Association is responsible for areas such as organising day to
day repairs to the common elements of the buildings or estates; insurance and
landscape maintenance.
Owners’ approval to carry out works will be sought in advance of commencing
works where the Anticipated Expenditure per household is in excess of £400.
As a courtesy, Linstone will also advise owners in advance of any individual
items of work that will cost in excess of £50 per household.
